Student awarded with teaching scholarship

Congratulations to Concordia senior Shelby Prows, one of 200 Indiana recipients of the Next Generation Hoosier Educators Scholarship. Given to high school seniors or current college students who are pursuing the field of education. This maximum $7,500 annual scholarship is awarded to students for committing to teaching within the state for five years. A total of 642 students applied for the scholarship and went through a competitive selection process based on academic achievement, teacher nomination and an in-person interview. Prows was one of 14 recipients within Allen County.
