Biography

Krista Koch graduated from Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska. Her first call was to Baltimore Lutheran High School. While accompanying a school field trip, she met her husband, Gene, in Chicago. After moving to Chicago, Krista taught at St. Scholastica and Luther North high schools. When her husband took a call to Unity Lutheran (now Lutheran South Unity) here in Fort Wayne, Krista was blessed to stay at home with the children, coach various sports, and play the organ at Peace Lutheran Church.

She started teaching at CLHS in 2006 when their oldest son, Aaron, was enrolled as a freshman. She teaches Algebra 2 and Honors Algebra 1. Krista and Gene have four children: Aaron, Adam, Sarah and Hannah.
