Scholarship Information

Need Based Scholarships

The Private School Aid Service provides evaluation of financial need. Their assessment provides us with a baseline comparison and objective assessment of need of the families that apply for financial assistance.

Every family applying for financial assistance to Concordia Lutheran High School must completes the PSAS forma and mail it, along with the $20.00 fee to PSAS. No application will be processed unless the fee is enclosed. NOTE that families mail it to PSAS, NOT to Concordia! Families are encouraged to complete the PSAS process as soon as possible, at the time of application for enrollment of re-enrollment. Applications received at Concordia Lutheran High School after July 15, 2008, will not qualify for a first semester need-based scholarship .

Excellence Scholarships

All new students are invited to apply for this renewable scholarship. The minimum grade point average is 3.0 on a 4.0 grade scale. These awards may be given for academic achievement and promise as well as for merit and overall achievement. Excellence Scholarships are renewable after a review of the student's academic, behavioral, and citizenship performance.

Congregational Scholarships

Students who are members in good standing in a CEA congregation may be awarded this scholarship. Congregational support for Concordia Lutheran High School funds these scholarships, which are renewed prior to each semester.

Fund for financial aid are made available to Concordia Lutheran high School from the Concordia Educational Foundation and a variety of organizations and individuals who want to assist families with the increasing cost of Christian education. Families are encouraged to check other potential sources of assistance, including their Lutheran congregation. Financial aid is intended to help make enrollment possible. Families who may not think it is affordable should contact the school before making a final decision.
