CLHS is happy to announce the SCRIP Program for all families to participate in. This program is designed to aid families with their tuition costs.

What is SCRIP?

SCRIP is a gift certificate, the very same certificate that is issued and guaranteed by the grocery, restaurant, gas or retail stores that you may shop at everyday. Buy and use SCRIP to purchase expense items like food, gas, clothing and other essentials, or for entertainment and travel purposes.

With every purchase, a percent of the profit generated from your purchase is credited to your family account.

How do I receive my Tuition Credit?

SCRIP credits are accrued for purchases made for the fiscal year July 1 thru June 30. Credits earned from purchases during this time are applied to your family’s account in August. Purchases for families with seniors only, will have credits for purchases made July 1 to November 30 th to apply to current year expense.

Purchasing families must choose ONE of the following to have their credits applied towards:

• CLHS family tuition account
• CLHS tours (band, choir or foreign language trips)
• Tuition at a Lutheran Elementary School
• Bank credits for ‘future’ student(s) at CLHS or Elementary School
• CLHS Tuition Assistance Fund (fund to help need-based families/students)
• CLHS Unrestricted Gift Fund (general account to help defray costs of education for all students)
• College Tuition (tuition credit towards college education of last student after graduation)

When is SCRIP for sale?

SCRIP can be purchased in the main hallway WEDNESDAYS & FRIDAYS 2:00-5:30 during the school year (closed when school is closed for weather related purposes and holidays). Summer hours to be posted at such time.

Plan ahead!! You may also place ORDERS by Fridays for pick up the following week on Wednesday. In ordering this way, it will provide a greater probability of availability for your SCRIP needs.

What merchants and retailers can SCRIP be bought for?

Not all places to buy SCRIP for are listed on our order form due to limited space. Additional merchants both local and nationwide are also available to order.
