A sewing service club sewing heartfelt prayers into each project. Every project will be donated to various places, here at home and around the world.
Activities: We make pillowcases for our Christmas Bureau families as well as shelters around the city and children in the hospital. Mustard Seed Furniture Bank is interested in any other pillowcases we can produce. We made over 86 flannel baby blankets & 120 burp cloths for A Hope Center last year. We are making Little Dresses & Britches for Africa partnering with The Christ Child Festival. We are open to other project ideas and welcome anyone who would like to spread a little love through the creative use of God’s gifts.
Requirements: Open to anyone — student, parents, grandparents, faculty, and community friends who are interested in helping. Meetings are once or twice a month, mostly after school, but also on some Saturdays for Sew-A-Thons.
Faculty Advisors: Mrs. Jayne Dwyer-Reff and Mrs. Stacey Salisbury
