About Music
With Christ at the center, the purpose of the CLHS Fine Arts Department is to develop a community of lifelong learners through an educationally challenging Fine Arts Program which embraces creativity, fosters appreciation of the arts, instills integrity and character, and provides opportunities for leadership and teamwork.
Music offers a variety of opportunities for students. They can participate in strings, band or choir—or ALL THREE! Band and choir have both competed and won significant awards at the State level.

Choral Music
The Choral Music program at Concordia is exceptional. Students perform around the area and hold many awards, even at the state level. There is a place for students of all skill levels.
Instrumental Music – Winds, Percussion, and Strings
At Concordia, there are many opportunities for students who enjoy playing instruments. Whether it is performing onstage in the band or orchestra, marching in parades and competitions, or improvising with the jazz band, there is a place here for anyone who is interested in exploring instrumental music.
