American Sign Language (ASL) Camps – Beginning 

 

Have fun learning the basics of American Sign Language. This beginner’s camp will present the basics of ASL including fingerspelling and basic phrases. We will also discuss aspects of Deaf culture. No previous experience required. Come learn a second language with your hands! Bring a sack lunch and talk with your mouth full!

 

Camp Dates: July 6 through 10

Cost: $65 (1 sign language camp), $120 (2 sign language camps)

Ages: Grades 5 and up

Times: 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

American Sign Language (ASL) Camp – Intermediate

 

Just as learning multiple spoken languages helps connect cultures, so does learning a visual language such as ASL. This intermediate camp will introduce a wide range of vocabulary and sentence styles so that you can have conversations in ASL. Attendance at the beginning level camp during the previous week is recommended but not required. Broaden your linguistic abilities to connect with others. Bring a sack lunch and talk with your mouth full!
