Computer Camp—Raspberry Jam: Video Game System

Computer Camp—Raspberry Jam: Video Game System

Get ready for Pi, Raspberry Pi that is. In this camp you will learn all about the credit card-sized Raspberry Pi computer as you construct a multi-platform video game system featuring emulators for machines such as Atari, Nintendo, Sega, and classic 80’s retro arcade games. Don’t let the fun fool you! Campers will gain basic computer science experience utilizing .iso files, ROMs, hardware and software, I/O devices, operating systems, boot sequences, and so much more. Sound too technical? No worries. This is a beginning CS camp so no experience necessary.

Campers can purchase their own Video Game system compatible with any HDMI television for $95 (additional cost) or use the camp materials at no additional cost. Register by May 15 for your Summer of Code USB Flash Drive containing all materials and ROMs used in camp. Please plan to bring a sack lunch.
