CLHS announces 2019 Athletic Hall of Fame class

FORT WAYNE, Ind. — Concordia Lutheran High School will induct five new members and one team into its Athletic Hall of Fame on Sept. 28 during a special reception. They also will be honored during the Friday night football game on Sept. 27.

The Athletic Hall of Fame was started in 2010 to award, recognize and honor outstanding achievements of athletes, coaches and others who have made significant contributions to the athletic program and have been instrumental in promoting the growth of athletics at Concordia. Since that time, Concordia has inducted 74 individuals and one team.

This year, five new members and one team will be added to that list.

Inductees this year include:

  • Dave Dobbins, a 1968 graduate, for Basketball, Wrestling, Football, and Track & Field
  • Andrew Owen, a 1982 graduate, for Basketball and Baseball
  • Stephanie (Parker) Pflughaupt, a 1986 graduate, for Volleyball, Basketball, and Tennis
  • Tom Wilcoxson, a 1965 graduate, for Football, Basketball, Baseball, and Track & Field
  • Amber Woodson, a 2003 graduate, for Cross Country, Basketball, and Track & Field
  • 1999 Boys Track Team for their state win
