Hello Concordia,
I hope you and your family had a good Thanksgiving holiday in whatever form it may have occurred this past week. We give thanks as we are in the clean hands of a Savior who loves and cares for us, guides us and provides for us, daily. I am thankful for our students and their ongoing dedication to learning and desire to be in-person, through classes, clubs, and extracurricular activities. I am also thankful for the tremendous work and dedication of our faculty and staff who model and support the ministry and mission of Concordia.
Concordia Lutheran High School (CLHS) is in Remote Learning mode this week, November 30-December 4. We are attempting to slow the spread of the coronavirus in our school community so that we may return to in-person learning on the CLHS campus on Monday, December 7.
Please continue practicing appropriate social distance, face covering, and frequent hand washing protocols to ensure your wellbeing and the health of others. Parents, please notify the school office if your son/daughter is unable to attend school or participate in online learning activities due to illness and medical appointments.
The week of Semester 1 Final Exams will have a different feel this year that includes a launch of Semester 2 classes. In the schedule below please note that December 14-16 will be the last class meeting for Semester 1 and that December 17-18 will launch the beginning of Semester 2. Concordia is modifying the week of December 14-18 in case we are unable to return to in-person learning activities on the CLHS campus on January 5, 2021. All CLHS classes will meet on December 14-16. Some classes will use the period for a Semester 1 Exam, and other classes will use the period as a culminating event for Semester 1. Teachers will announce further details to their classes.
