Welcome to the 2022-23 school year!

Welcome to the 2022-23 school year at Concordia Lutheran High School, our 88th year as a school community, founded in Christ, serving the Fort Wayne community. We pray and wish you God's Blessings on this school year that it be fulfilling and meaningful to you. You will receive and benefit from this school year by what you purposely contribute and invest in your learning experiences, relationships, and co-curricular activities. Some simple advice: Talk with Your Teachers, Eat Properly, Laugh, Get Some Sleep, Celebrate People, and Pray!

Concordia Lutheran High School opened our new school year on August 10 with terrific energy and anticipation for the school year ahead. Our first day of school was highlighted with an all-school chapel service in which Mr. Jacob Pennekamp, Head of School, reminded us to be firm in our faith as our foundation — solid in trust, truth, and purpose.

Ready. Set. Go! These commands often associated with running a race, are a good analogy as we start this school year.

Ready. Throughout the spring and early summer, a tremendous amount of planning has been executed for the transition of our computerized information system to a new vendor, along with hiring four dynamic teachers to join the Concordia ministry! We were blessed to have our hiring completed by late June, and the process of moving data from the old to new system in full swing. Concordia thanks a large number of people involved in this process, especially the leadership of Mrs. Ashley Wiehe, Ms. Kim Nash, and Ms. Stephanie Marks in this transition.

Set. July was filled with hustle and bustle as the school distributed family contracts, opened our new FACTS Family Portal, received new families, and renovated our ACE room, Study Center, and gymnasium floor. Supplies arrived. Paint applied. Floors shined.

Go! Faculty and staff orientation meetings began on August 1, and within a short period of time, teachers are hosting students on the first day of school for the 2022-23 school year!

Along with the physical changes in parts of our building a couple of schedule and procedural changes have occurred as we migrate beyond the protocols followed the past two year due to the pandemic. We now have two lunch periods every day, with students eating lunch in the cafeteria, and not in the classroom. Believe it or not, this is the first year that any of the students now in the building have had lunch in the cafeteria.

Go Concordia!
