What led you to your current occupation?
I started skating at age 5 and have been working very hard toward my goal of reaching the Olympics in the future. Just recently, U.S. Figure Skating assigned me to 2 international Junior Grand Prix events, one in Ostrava, the Czech Republic, and the other in Riga, Latvia. In Ostrava, I placed 2nd, and in Riga, I placed first. As a result, I will be going to Italy in December for the ISU JGP Finals.
What was your education after Concordia?
I will be attending IU Bloomington to study pre-med and work toward medical school and a place in the medical field.
What did you love most about CLHS?
Supportive teachers and a great christ-centered environment that fostered both learning and fun which in my opinion, provided me with a fantastic high school education.
What advice would you pass along to students?
Talk to everyone and make friends with all the teachers as they are all super awesome people and really want you to succeed.
