Sophomore receives perfect score on National Latin Exam

FORT WAYNE, Ind. — In March, CLHS Latin students took the National Latin Exam, a test given nationally and internationally to more than 100,000 Latin students. Sophomore Jackson Wagner received a special award for having a perfect paper. Only 1,004 students out of more than 140,000 around the world received this distinction.

CLHS students who were honored from the test are:

Receiving a cum laude award are:
• Sophomore Rachel Metzger for Latin II
• Junior Rachel Sutter for Latin III
• Junior Sami Masaki for Latin III
• Senior Erin Adair for Latin IV

Receiving a magna cum laude award are:
• Freshman Taylor Schoenefeld for Latin I
• Sophomore Grace Bieberich for Latin II
• Sophomore Gabe Kramer for Latin II
• Senior Corey Nack for Latin III
• Senior Jon Adair for Latin IV

Receiving a Maxima cum laude award are:
• Sophomore Tyler Else for Latin II
• Junior Margaret Metzger for Latin III

Receiving a Summa cum laude award are:
• Sophomore Jackson Wagner for Latin II
• Junior Mitchell Scott for Latin III
