Concordia names new program directors

Dec. 13, 2016

FORT WAYNE, Ind. — Concordia Lutheran High School has promoted two employees and welcomed one new employee to the staff.

Debbie Schumm has been named the new director of financial aid. This is a new position for the school as it restructures admissions, retention and financial aid.

Schumm is a 1996 graduate of CLHS. She holds an associate degree in hospitality management from IPFW and a bachelor's degree in management and communication from Concordia University-Wisconsin. She has worked in financial aid for more than 13 years between the University of Saint Francis and Ivy Tech Community College.

Also, Dawn Schuller, who has been the part-time and full-time admissions counselor at the high school for almost four years, has been named the new director of admissions and retention. This position was restructured and has a heavier role in retention.

Gary Reinking has been named the director of buildings and grounds. He has been doing the position in the interim since earlier this year. He has been with the high school for six years in the maintenance department.
