CLHS athletes, team to be inducted into 2017 Hall of Fame class

FORT WAYNE, Ind. — Concordia Lutheran High School will induct six new members and one team into its Athletic Hall of Fame on Feb. 17 during a special reception. They also will be honored during the Friday night basketball game on Feb. 16.

The Athletic Hall of Fame was started in 2010 to award, recognize and honor outstanding achievements of athletes, coaches and others who have made significant contributions to the athletic program and have been instrumental in promoting the growth of athletics at Concordia. Since that time, Concordia has inducted 62 individuals.

This year, six new members and one team will be added to that list.

Inductees this year include: 1983 Girl’s Cross Country Team; Alissa (McKaig) Doehla ’04 for Cross Country and Track and Field; Doug Doehrmann ’57 for Football, Basketball, and Track and Field; Sarah (Manck) Ferguson ’04 for Cross Country and Track and Field; Ken Ostermeyer ’74 for Football, Basketball, and Baseball; Reggie Stevenson ’94 for Football, Basketball, and Track and Field; and Adele (Mitchell) Thompson ’05 for Cross Country and Track and Field.
