CLHS students named to All-State Band

FORT WAYNE, Ind. — Concordia Lutheran High School juniors Adam Schweyer and Joshua Vandre have been selected to participate in the 57th annual Indiana All-State High School Band Festival sponsored by the Indiana Bandmasters Association (IBA).

Each student earned this honor by participating in a highly competitive audition held early in January at nine centers across Indiana. Seven hundred talented young musicians applied to audition. One hundred and seventy-three students were selected to participate in the 2018 festival.

A free concert will be presented to the public at 2:30 p.m. March 11 in the Elliot Hall of Music on the Purdue University-West Lafayette campus.
