April CLHS alumni mentor program to feature the counseling field

FORT WAYNE, Ind. — Concordia Lutheran High School’s next alumni mentor program will feature the counseling field.

On April 12, Dr. Kerrie Fineran, a nationally certified counselor and mental health expert and a 1998 graduate of Concordia, will speak about her experience in mental health counseling, school counseling, social work and marriage and family therapy. She is currently a professor and director of the graduate program in counseling at Purdue Fort Wayne as well as an author on topics related to youth suicide, counseling with foster children, eating disorders, personality disorders, international counseling efforts and group counseling.

The presentation will begin at approximately 11:10 a.m. in the PFC.
