If the first semester Senior Government classes are any indication, this Second Semester will be a great one.
Through traditional lectures and many guest speakers, students learn to understand the nature of citizenship, politics, and governments and the rights and responsibilities of citizens and how these are part of local, state, and national government.
The first semester classes were consistently engaged with the classroom discussion and demonstrated an awareness of the political landscape and a desire to make a difference. Because of this teaching continues to be a joy (having taught at Concordia since 1994), and I am looking forward to the second semester!
