Concordia Lutheran High School’s JROTC Robotics Team was named winner of the VEX Robotics JROTC World Championship. In May, the RoboRangers competed to beat teams across the world in a timed skills match where, through coding and driving, the team built, designed, and experimented to become World Champions.

This summer, we welcomed Jacob Pennekamp as our new Head of School, the top position for Concordia Lutheran High School. And if you had walked into my English 10 classroom on Monday or Tuesday, you would have seen that it is the season for campaigning! This year in English 10 we brought back a summative project we did for the first time two years ago right before the pandemic hit; this is the Lord of the Flies’ Campaign Project.

When you hear the word “connections,” what comes to mind? If I’m doing some electrical work at home, having the right connection ensures the electricity flows and the light comes on. If I’m making a phone call in a remote area, having a good connection is necessary to communicate effectively and avoid a dropped call.
