Raiders take second in PFW meet This past Saturday, the Concordia Lutheran JROTC Raider Team powered by earth shaking action met 10 teams on the field of battle at the Purdue Fort Wayne Mastodon Raider Mayhem and took home second place. They competed in the Rope Bridge, Cross Country 5K, The Litter Obstacle Course Run, The Gauntlet, and the Physical Team Test.
Students ministering to their peers The CLHS Peer Ministers are a caring, diverse group of students who are aware of the needs of those around them. They are students ministering to students with the story of the Good Samaritan as their model. Peer Ministers are available as caring listeners who assist fellow students that are in conflict or crisis.

Beyond Me The end of quarter is always a stressful time. It is stressful for students as they attempt to put their best foot forward and earn the best grade possible. It is stressful for teachers as they deal with the multiple requests and demands that come at the end of the quarter (many of which they wish would have come a lot earlier) and get all of the submitted materials graded and recorded.

Service Day 2021 This year’s school-wide Service Day was this past Friday, October 8. If you have been in the Fort Wayne area recently, you know that an umbrella has been an essential accessory as of late. A number of our school’s Koinonia* groups were planning for outdoor work sites. Gratefully, the rain did take a break during the primary work window (9:00 am to noon) and much was accomplished!

Schoolwide Testing Information Students in grades 9, 10 and 11 will take part in our school wide testing day Wednesday, October 13 2021. Grade 9 will be taking the PSAT 8/9 Test and grades 10 and 11 will be administered the Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test (PSAT)/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (NMSQT). Seniors do not need to report to school. This would be a great day to schedule a college campus visit or work on your college applications.
Rules to Live By Every classroom has specific procedures, rules, and expectations. Statements like: Be prepared for learning, Keep hands, feet, and other objects to yourself, or Raise your hand to speak are commonplace in schools across the nation.
