About CLHS
Why Concordia
Concordia Lutheran High School has been providing Christ-centered educational excellence since 1935. We are a 9-12 school that offers 15 distinct academic programs (including 16 AP classes, 8 Dual Credit classes, and 6 Honors classes). We offer 21 different sports for boys and girls, and more than 20 different clubs and activities, including a JROTC leadership program. We pride ourselves on small class sizes and a family atmosphere!
We are founded on the principles of the LCMS (Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod) church (see our Statement of Faith). We offer a rotating block schedule with 8 courses offered each semester to each student. We offer a number of exceptional Fine Arts programs, including state finalists in our Marching Band and choir programs, and the only Army JROTC program in the area.
Spiritual life is at the heart of what we do at Concordia. Students take Theology classes throughout their four years at CLHS, and participate in weekly chapel services as well as a small devotional group called Koinonia.
The school is owned and operated by 17 area Lutheran churches with the same goal of making a great high school education with a truly Christian perspective available to all students and families in our area.
