Student Council

A great way for students to become involved in the daily life of CLHS is to be a part of Student Council. Students run for office to represent their class and, if elected by their peers, become members of the Student Council.

Student Council members volunteer for committees to plan yearly celebrations like Homecoming and Winter Spirit Week. Faculty advisors are assigned to each class’s Council members, and, together, they plan events like the Christmas Dance and Prom. Members also volunteer for service such as ringing bells for the Salvation Army during the holidays. No experience is needed to be on Student Council, only a willingness to be a leader through thought, word, and deed.
