Whether you’re a wiz at computer or just dabble in programming, these classes will help you refine your skills; and it promotes creativity, problem solving, and collaboration. All computer science classes can be taken for dual credit for college.
Students in the program participate in area programming competitions (with cash prizes) through IPFW and TechFest. Also, CLHS offers a “Disrupting the Pink Aisle” program to encourage women to participate in CS/STEM offerings.
Want to send a personal message to your CLHS student, team, group, or club? Concordia's Computer Science Department is piloting a new program called Adopt-A-Slide where you can post messages to your CLHS student on the Academic Hallway Digital Sign for $10/day. This is a student-led initiative with all proceeds going to Fort Wayne's A Hope Center. The slide will contain a personal message along with the photo you provide on a pre-selected background.
