As we cross the halfway mark of the school year, it’s inspiring to see the growth our students have displayed both educationally and spiritually. The opportunities they’ve encountered over the past six months are possible because Concordia has been richly blessed by supporters like you!
For 89 years, our steadfast commitment to Christ-centered values and unity within the Cadet family has distinguished us from other area high schools. We’re grateful to have you as part of this family now and for years to come.
My story with Concordia first began in 2004 as an incoming Freshman. Those four years as a Cadet not only prepared me academically for college but also instilled significant lifelong values. Christ became an integral part of my daily life at CLHS. My faith grew through what no other high school could provide, a Christ-centered educational experience.
Fast forward to 2023. I’m now married with two beautiful children - and another little one on the way. I have felt immensely blessed, but God recently reminded me there is more to my story. I turned the page and found myself back at Concordia 16 years later. This past December, I was hired as the Director of Annual Giving at CLHS. I have the honor of engaging with donors like yourself, who give the gift of the Concordia experience to over 600 students each year.
There have been many exciting changes at CLHS over the years, but what has remained constant is God’s love, as well as the dedicated teachers, faculty, and staff passionate about preparing our students for lifelong success.
Graduating from the CLHS class of 2008 set the stage for an amazing journey. One that led me back to the familiar halls and people who shaped who I am today. God is the most accomplished author, and I’m grateful for the story He has written for me and for placing the Concordia family in my life then - and now.
I’m hoping you will be part of someone’s story by contributing a financial gift to the Cadet Fund. To date, our donors have successfully covered nearly 70% of our Cadet Fund goal, and we’re hoping you’ll prayerfully consider assisting us in reaching the remaining 30%.
Support for the Cadet Fund, in any capacity, directly impacts our students, faculty, and the entire Concordia family. Its goal is to generate unrestricted annual support, providing opportunities for all students to have a Christ-centered education at Concordia.
These opportunities are only possible because Concordia has been richly blessed by supporters like you. Gifts allocated to the Cadet Fund have made a direct impact throughout the entire school, providing classroom resources, student experiences, and special projects that go beyond of scope of our Operating Budget.
God has placed Concordia in their lives and in their story, and with the help of our Cadet family, we can help fill their pages with experiences and opportunities that no other school can offer.
