Creating healthy habits

I have a challenge for you: Add one more fruit or vegetable to your daily routine for one month. It can be any fruit or vegetable: an apple or banana (so easy and portable), canned fruit, spinach in your morning smoothie (you never even know it is there), salsa, dried fruit on the run or pair with some nuts or cheese (bonus in that you also get the protein with the fiber), zucchini noodles, or rice cauliflower (I really think I am eating rice but better and can even be purchased frozen).

Our local farmers markets as well as our supermarket produce sections are loaded with an amazing selection at this time of the year with something for each of us.

And, anything we do for a month becomes a HABIT! Bonus!
