Students, nominate a senior for the Barnabas Award

The Class of 1986 established the Barnabas Award to be annually presented to a member of the current senior class. Barnabas was a supporter and fellow missionary with St. Paul. “Barnabas” means “encourager” and that is what he was. His mission and ministry was to be of service to his fellowman. He lived his faith and was dedicated to bolstering and encouraging others in theirs. His actions spoke clearly of what he professed to be.

At Concordia our claim is that “Christ is the Center" of our lives. The Barnabas Award was established to recognize an individual whose life and actions exemplify that credo. This award is not necessarily for the person with academic, athletic, musical, dramatic, or even leadership prowess, but rather for the servant, the giver, the supporter, the ambassador for Jesus.

Any member of the senior class may be nominated for the Award by any student or member of the faculty or staff.

Nominations must be received by Friday, April 24. Students will have received a link in their email to nominate a senior. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Eric Kaschinske at [email protected]

Any member of the senior class may be nominated for the award by any member of the faculty or staff or any student of Concordia Lutheran High School. Each nominator will provide information regarding the nominee.
