April 29, 2020

FORT WAYNE, Ind. — More than $20,000 was raised for Concordia families facing hardships amid the COVID-19 pandemic through the Cadet Day of Caring.

On April 28, Concordia Lutheran High School held a virtual giving day to raise donations for an Emergency Relief Fund to provide assistance for tuition, fees, and related Concordia educational expenses for these families during the 2019-20 and 2020-21 school years.

The funds were raised by more than 80 donors throughout the day, and leading up to the event.

Concordia will now work with families to determine need and distribute the funds.
