Concordia names Hanauer as head boys tennis coach

FORT WAYNE, Ind. — Concordia Lutheran High School has named Rick Hanauer as the new head coach for the boys tennis team.

A Fort Wayne native, he has been teaching pro for the past 45 years. He played tennis at Broward College and Troy University and then went on to be the head tennis pro at Palm Beach Country Club. He then returned to Fort Wayne as the assistant pro at Wildwood and then as the head tennis pro at Orchard Ridge Country Club. He is a member of the Fort Wayne Tennis Hall of Fame.

Concordia Lutheran High School, located at 1601 St. Joe River Drive in Fort Wayne, Ind., was founded in 1935 as a private, co-educational Lutheran high school open to students of all faiths and backgrounds.
