Faculty Spotlight: Ms. Pam Rusher

Physical Education and Health teacher

Are you a Concordia alum or parent - current or past (and if so, please list)?
Current parent of two CLHS students - Isaiah and James Rusher

When did you start at CLHS?
Teaching started in Fall of 1991

Please describe your position at CLHS.
I am a teacher of Physical Education and Health during the school day, and my after school activities include driver education and Practical Arts department head.

What was your education that led you to CLHS?
I attended Ball Sate University to acquire a bachelor’s degree in education. After a couple of teaching experiences, one outside of Fort Wayne and one with FWCS, a position opened at CLHS.

What did you love most about teaching at CLHS?
Family is a common “feeling” at CLHS. This is an awesome way to spend the day among those whom share the love of God and have a commitment to learning.

What's your favorite story about your time at CLHS?
My favorite time at school includes the ability to see young people transition into fine young disciples of Christ and members of the community. I cherish the moments when I hear my name hollered within our community-in stores, airports, events, restaurants, offices, etc. It is then that I get to hear the amazing and rewarding stories of what these same youth “become” after high school.
