What is your current occupation?
Recruiting Manager at Amazon

What led you to your current occupation?
After I graduated from Purdue in Selling and Sales Management, I moved to Lexington, KY and started my career with Amazon as an Area Manager. After about a year, I decided to transition into University Recruiting with Amazon. For two years I lived in Nashville, TN and worked as a Sourcing Recruiter where I spent time connecting with different colleges and career centers across the US and Canada. I just recently moved back to Fort Wayne and transitioned into a Virtual Recruiting Manager position with Amazon.

What was your education after Concordia?
I graduated from Purdue with a major in Selling and Sales Management and minor in Organizational Leadership and Supervision with a certificate in Entrepreneurship and Innovation.

What did you love most about CLHS?
I loved the atmosphere and history of what Concordia meant to me. With so many family members having walked the halls of Concordia before me, I loved being able to keep that family history alive through a new generation.

What advice would you pass along to students?
It’s ok to not have your future completely planned out right after high school or college. Brace the uncertainty, take yourself out of your comfort zone, and try new things! Each experience you encounter is a learning opportunity and a stepping stone within your journey. You will never have ALL of the answers but you’ll learn as you go. Trust God and the path he has set out for your life.
