Andy Morris has been a dedicated educator and coach at Concordia Lutheran High School since 2009, when he joined the faculty to teach history and social studies. Over his years at Concordia, he has taught courses including World History, World Geography, U.S. History, AP U.S. History, and Honors World History.
Morris brings a wealth of coaching experience to his new role as head coach of the Girls’ Flag Football team. His 31 total coaching seasons span multiple sports and age levels, including middle school track, girls’ basketball, football, and high school swimming. He also coached high school football from 2004–2018 and again from 2022–2023.
As he takes on this new position, Morris is eager to continue building the program into a strong competitor within the SAC and beyond. His coaching philosophy is rooted in faith, emphasizing teamwork, confidence, and growth as Christian athletes. “Everything we do will be based on our Christian beliefs first,” he shares. “If we win, it is because of Him and His gifts; if we lose, we have still been blessed with the ability to play and compete.”
A lifelong sports enthusiast, Morris played football, baseball, basketball, and track as a student-athlete. He looks forward to helping the sport of Girls’ Flag Football continue to grow at Concordia and hopes to see strong support from the school community in the seasons ahead.
