"I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you."
- Psalm 32:8 (NIV)
Hello Seniors of Concordia Lutheran High School!
As you look forward to the end of high school and all that lies ahead, I want to take a moment to
acknowledge the incredible journey you’ve been on and to encourage you as you approach the
finish line. This is an exciting time filled with anticipation, reflection, and a bit of nostalgia. But it's
also a time to dig deep and push through to the end.
You’ve worked hard to get to this point. It is important to stay focused and committed during
these final months. It might be tempting to ease up, especially with thoughts of graduation and
summer adventures on the horizon, but remember that the effort you put in now will pay off in
ways you may not yet realize. Completing your assignments, preparing for your exams, and
participating in your final projects with dedication will ensure that you leave high school on a
high note.
The skills you’re developing now -- time management, persistence, and resilience -- are not just
for school; they are life skills that will serve you well in college, careers, and beyond. By working
hard to the end, you are setting a foundation for success in whatever path you choose to follow.
Consider this your practice for the challenges and opportunities life will present you in the future.
However, while it’s crucial to stay focused, don’t forget to savor the moments with your
classmates and teachers who have shared this journey with you. These friendships and
connections can last a lifetime. Participate in the traditions, attend the events, and make the
most of your remaining time together. These are the memories that will stay with you.
As you prepare to move forward, whether it’s heading to college, starting a career, or exploring
other opportunities, know that you are equipped with the knowledge and experiences you’ve
gained here at Concordia. Know also that God will be with you, whatever path you choose.
Believe in yourself and your abilities, and put your faith in our Lord. With His help, the future is
yours to shape, and it’s filled with endless possibilities.
Finally, I want to wish you all the best in your future endeavors. It has been a privilege to watch
you grow and learn. I am confident that you will leave a positive mark on the world. Finish
strong, be open to God’s plan for you, and walk into the future with courage and determination.
Congratulations, Class of 2026!
