Thinking About Concordia for High School? Start Early for the Class of 2031!

Choosing a high school is a big decision, and finding the right fit takes time. If you have a current 8th grader and Concordia Lutheran High School is on your family's list, now is the time to begin exploring!

Our freshman class is at capacity this school year, and we are grateful for the tremendous interest families continue to show in a Concordia Lutheran High School education. For families considering CLHS for the 2027–2028 school year, we encourage you to explore early, attend an admissions event, and apply during our Priority Application Period.

What Is the Priority Application Period?

Concordia's Priority Application Period is October 14–December 18.

This is the ideal time for current 8th-grade students to complete their application for freshman admission. Applying during the Priority Application Period allows families to move through the admissions process early and be prepared for the next steps toward becoming a Cadet. If you get your application and supporting documents and Tuition Scholarship forms submitted by December 18th, you will get your Financial Aid package by mid-February.

With strong enrollment and our current freshman class at capacity, families should not wait until spring to begin thinking about high school. If Concordia is a school your family is seriously considering, make the fall of your student's 8th-grade year count.

What Will I Need to Apply?

Getting your documents together ahead of time can make the application process much easier. Families should be prepared to provide:

  • A copy of the student's birth certificate
  • The student's first-quarter 8th-grade report card
  • 7th-grade ILEARN scores (Math & English)
  • An IEP, ISP, or 504 Plan, if applicable
  • The student's Educational Evaluation, if applicable
