Concordia to host expanded Homecoming & Alumni Weekend

Sept. 15, 2014

FORT WAYNE, Ind. — Concordia Lutheran High School is celebrating its Homecoming activities with a full Alumni Weekend on Sept. 26-28.

Created off of the traditional college model, the expanded events for the weekend hope to engage more alumni, students and friends of Concordia with the school.

“We are excited for our first Alumni Weekend which was designed to provide multi-day events for alumni returning for their class reunions and the entire Concordia community including current students, families, friends and staff,” said Jill Nichols, director of alumni relations.

The weekend kicks off with the annual invitational golf tournament and continues into Friday evening with a Homecoming tailgate and football game. The weekend concludes with a worship service on Sunday featuring the CLHS Chamber Choir.
