CLHS students to support Riley with Dance Marathon

April 8, 2015

FORT WAYNE, Ind. — This year, Concordia Lutheran High School is are hosting a Dance Marathon to raise donations for Riley Children’s Foundation. The event will take place from 6-10 p.m. April 24 in the CLHS gym.

The underlying theme of this event is to “Stand for Those that Can't Stand for Themselves!” For four hours, students will dance, hear from Riley families, and play activities — all while standing. The goal is to raise a total of $5,000 to be able to contribute to the Riley Foundation for research and other funding purposes to help take care of children in need.

There are many families at Concordia and in the community whose lives have been affected by Riley. Each year, the student body is committed to doing larger service-focused opportunities. The Dance Marathon will help those Riley families in and outside of the school.

Donations may be made online or checks may be sent to the school. Visit http://donate.rileykids.org/clhsdm2015 to donate. Donations also may be made to “Riley Children's Foundation,” and may be sent to:
