Engineer to speak to CLHS students during February mentor lunch

FORT WAYNE, Ind. — Concordia Lutheran High School’s alumni mentor program on Feb. 15 will feature Bill Etzler, a licensed professional engineer and parent of three Concordia graduates.

Etzler attended Purdue University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in construction and then earned his Master of Arts degree in chemistry from Indiana University. He is a partner with Engineering Resources, Inc.

His career includes positions as Allen County Highway Director and Allen County Surveyor; Vice President of Aqua Indiana, a division of national utility Aqua America; and positions with a number of road, bridge and utility construction companies. His professional engineering work took him to Europe, Central and South America and across the United States. 

In addition, he was a high school, collegiate and professional football and basketball official. He completed his football career in the NFL working as a head linesman.

The presentation will begin at approximately 11:10 a.m. in the PFC.
