2009 graduate named CLHS cheer coach

FORT WAYNE, Ind. — Brittany Brune has been named the new head cheerleading coach at Concordia Lutheran High School. She replaces Suzanne Koehlinger who stepped down after this season.

Brune is a first grade teacher at Suburban Bethlehem Lutheran School, and has been the head coach of girls cheerleading at the grade school level for four years. She also taught and coached gymnastics and cheerleading courses at a local gym for several years.

A 2009 graduate of CLHS, she cheered for four years at Concordia and competed for two years in gymnastics. She also participated in competitive All-Star cheer for seven years. She graduated from Concordia University-Chicago with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education in 2013.
