Opening a new door

God has opened a new door for me and, after much prayer and conversation with my family, I have decided to follow His direction. After four years working at Concordia Lutheran High School, I was approached with an opportunity to be the Communications Director at Promise Lutheran, where my family and I attend. This is a part-time position that will allow me to put more focus on my family and schoolwork, as I am working toward becoming an elementary school teacher.

I will continue to work at CLHS in a part-time role, working on this year’s annual golf outing, alumni weekend and our 2018 Cadets in Cadence Dinner Auction events only. I have great committees in place and want to make sure the events continue to be successful this year as they support the mission of our school. Around the first week of January, I will step down from my role at Concordia altogether.

As an alumna of Concordia, it has been such a wonderful experience to work at and be a part of the CLHS family in a new way. I was able to reconnect with many people, develop new relationships with other alumni and supporters of the high school, and be a part of a wonderful community that keeps Christ at the center. I am blessed to have had the opportunity to work at Concordia as the Director of Alumni Relations and Annual Events and look forward to new opportunities ahead!
