Interested in sponsoring the race:

The race starts and finishes at Concordia Lutheran High School. Over the last 5 years we have been able to donate over $42,000 to Honor Flights of Northeast Indiana and Shepherd’s House.  Our goal is to raise even more for our worthy Veterans then we did last year.  We are looking for Businesses and Individuals to be sponsors of this year’s race.  This is an excellent opportunity to support our local Veterans and to give back to the Fort Wayne Community.  It is also an amazing way to show pride in our military, as the race takes place on Armed Forces Day.   Additionally, this event is second to none because of our outstanding Race Director, Mr. Mitch Harper who is well known in the racing community.

We estimate that there will be 500-700 racers at the event. Our participants range from 5 to 70 years of age.  We have received publicity on local news channels and radio stations. We also have a Facebook page that can be found HERE.

Our race is named in Honor of A.J. Arnett. SPC A.J. Arnett, a 2004 Concordia Lutheran High School graduate entered the U.S. Army in June of 2004, leaving the day after graduation.  A.J. deployed to Iraq with the 3rd Infantry Division in January 2005.  On July 13, while on patrol in Baghdad, A.J. was seriously wounded in a car bomb attack that resulted in the death of one Soldier and seriously wounding another Soldier in his squad.

Suffering shrapnel and blast wounds to his leg, A.J. underwent multiple surgeries to repair the extensive damage to his leg. At one point, he was told that he would never run again, but A.J. persevered and continues to run multiple long distance events.  He has become a fixture in our local running community.

We offer 5 Levels of sponsorship.  All sponsorship levels may provide fliers or other promotional items to be placed in Goody Bags that are handed out to all race participants.  Each level is broken down below.

Level 1 $300: Company logo on the back of the 5K T-Shirt - 10 available

Level 2 $500: Company logo on the back of the 5K T-Shirt and your support of the 5K Run posted on our social media pages: AJ Arnett Honor Run Facebook page; CLHS JROTC Facebook page; CLHS JROTC Twitter; and CLHS JROTC Instagram. Your company will also be mentioned in our email marketing campaign. – 6 available

Level 3 $700: Prominent placement of Company logo on the back of the 5K T-Shirt and your support of the 5K Run posted on our social media pages:AJ Arnett Honor Run Facebook page; CLHS JROTC Facebook page; CLHS JROTC Twitter; CLHS JROTC Instagram; CLHS Facebook page and CLHS Twitter.Your company will also be mentioned in our email marketing campaign.  Your support of the race will be mentioned on the race webpage, www.ajarnetthonorrun.com. You may set up a booth/table to promote your company the day of the event.  Your company logo will be printed on race fliers, posters and banners. – 3 available

Level 4 $1,500: Prominent placement of Company logo on the back of the 5K T-Shirt and your support of the 5K Run posted on our social media pages: AJ Arnett Honor Run Facebook page; CLHS JROTC Facebook page; CLHS JROTC Twitter; CLHS JROTC Instagram; CLHS Facebook page and CLHS Twitter.Your company will be mentioned in our email marketing campaign. You may set up a booth/table the day of the event to promote your business.Your support of the race will also be mentioned on the race webpage, www.ajarnetthonorrun.com.Your company logo will be printed on race fliers, posters and banners.   Your business logo engraved on the awards, company name and logo on CLHS electronic sign in support of the race for 1 month.  Additionally, your company’s logo will be printed on the race bibs and on the kilometer markers. – 2 available

Level 5 $3000: Top Placement of Company logo on the back of the 5K T-Shirt and your support of the 5K Run posted on our social media pages:AJ Arnett Honor Run Facebook page; CLHS JROTC Facebook page; CLHS JROTC Twitter; CLHS JROTC Instagram; CLHS Facebook page and CLHS Twitter,with note as our top sponsor.  Your company logo will receive top placement on race fliers, posters and banners. You will be noted as top sponsor on our race webpage, www.ajarnetthonorrun.com. You may set up a booth/table the day of the event to promote your business. Your business logo engraved on the awards, company name and logo on CLHS electronic sign in support of the race for 1 month.  Additionally, your company’s logo will be printed on the race bibs and on the kilometer markers.
