The ABCs of CLHS Admissions for Current 8th Graders

  1. Priority Enrollment opens on October 18th-December 16th.  If you complete the application for enrollment and turn in all the supporting documents, scholarships, and financial aid by Dec 16th, we will be able to give you your financial aid package by mid-February. You can still apply for admission after December 16th, but you might not get your Financial Aid package until March or April. Click here to apply…

  3. Make sure that you are receiving our “Future Cadet” e-newsletter. This is how we communicate early try-out dates, open gyms, and other important information before the first day of school. Please email [email protected] if you would like to be added to the distribution list.
  4. After the enrollment application is completed, you may submit scholarships and financial aid. Note that the “Concordia Scholar” has a hard deadline of December 16th! Click here to see a list of scholarships and how to apply for financial aid…
  5. On November 11th CLHS will hosts “Concordia Day,” a day when more than 300 8th graders come to experience high school for the day. Click here to register if your class is not attending…
  6. On Nov 16th, we will host Discover Concordia Night at 6:30 pm which is a time for parents to visit the school and get information. Click here to register to attend…

  8. Consider depositing money in a 529 Plan by December 31st if you have not yet, and you can use that toward Concordia Tuition.
  9. You will receive an Admissions Decision email within 2 weeks of applying.
  10. Then you will receive instructions on completing your enrollment packet.
  11. We will hold a “Last Look Open House” on January 22, 2023, from noon-3 pm.
  12. Freshmen will start scheduling their classes at our Freshman Scheduling Nights towards the end of February.
  13. Students wanting to take Honors Algebra or Honors Geometry will take a Math Placement Test in the Spring.
  14. Students that would like to participate in our EPIC Mentor Program will need to complete the student survey by May 31st so that we can match you up with a mentor with similar interests.   15. Order your student uniform shirts by July 30. Click here to order uniforms…
  16. Attend one of our Back to School Open House Days (usually around the 1st week in August) to pick up class schedules, and textbooks, receive locker assignments, and lock.
  17. New Student Orientation Day (students only) is held the day before the first day of school.
