Admissions Requirements 

We're excited to have your student as a Cadet in the fall! APPLICATIONS FOR FALL 2025 OPEN OCTOBER 15. Our Priority Application Period runs from October 15, 2024 to December 20, 2024. If you apply for the fall in that time, you will receive your financial aid package by mid-February. You can apply after this date. Below are admissions requirements for incoming freshmen and transfer students. 
 

Enrollment in Grade 9

  • Complete the Application for Admission form online. You must create a username/password and login to apply.
  • Submit a copy of the student’s birth certificate.
  • Submit a copy of the student’s most recent standardized test scores (usually ILEARN scores).
  • Submit a copy of the student’s most recent report card.
 


A student attending a public elementary or middle school must submit a copy of the most recent standardized test scores (usually ILEARN scores) and the most recent report card. These documents are available from the public school office. If the student’s GPA is below a “C” or 2.0 average, then an appeal must be submitted. A student attending a Lutheran elementary school may be required, in special circumstances, to complete an interview for enrollment with a school administrator prior to acceptance. CLHS will notify the family if an interview with the family and student is required.

Transfer Students
(second semester Grade 9 and Grades 10-12)

A student desiring to transfer to CLHS is expected to present a positive record of academic performance and citizenship from the school he/she currently attends.

  • Complete the Application for Admission form online. You must create a username/password and login to apply.
  • Submit a copy of the student’s birth certificate.
  • Submit a copy of the student’s most recent standardized test scores (usually End of Course Assessments).
  • Submit a copy of the student’s unofficial transcript.


All financial and other obligations to the student’s previous school must be completed prior to transferring enrollment to CLHS. A transferring student’s enrollment is not considered final until the above steps are completed.

If the student’s GPA is below a “C” or 2.0 average, then an appeal must be submitted. Please contact Dawn Schuller, Director of Admissions and Retention.
