Winter prices for our 2018-19 All-Sport Passes are now available.

Most of us have heard the saying “Many hands make light work.” As a parent and employee of CLHS, I’ve had the opportunity to experience this firsthand. A few specific instances come to mind when I hear this saying.

It is hard to believe we are almost at the end of October and have started taking applications for 2019-2020. If your family has an incoming student, please make sure to complete the Excel Scholarship, Tuition Scholarship and Band Scholarship applications before December 14.

On October 15 and 16, 40 student peer leaders and 12 adult advisors took part in training for Sources of Strength. Sources of Strength vision statement reads: “We believe that many strengths are more powerful than one, and our united goal is to activate and mobilize these strengths in ways that positively change individuals and communities.”

Ever been afraid of that first day of school? Through Concordia Lutheran High School’s annual Concordia Day, students can experience high school in a fun environment with their friends.

Thirty-six Concordia Lutheran High School students were inducted into the National Honor Society during a special ceremony Sunday evening.

One of the advantages of getting older is recognizing the ways that God often uses “coincidences” to deliver a message!

Concordia’s annual Koinonia Service Day was held on October 5, with our school sending 65 separate groups throughout Fort Wayne in a variety of service projects. The rain did affect many of the outdoor plans, but not the heart of our students serving. Translated from Greek, Koinonia means “being in community.” Concordia’s Koinonia groups consist of 10-12 students from a mixture of grades, which meet weekly in prayer, conversation, and fellowship. Concordia Lutheran High School’s alumni mentor program on Oct. 15 will feature a graduate with a wide variety of business experience, especially with his time at Eli Lilly & Company.

This year’s Service Day was Friday, October 5. If you were in the Fort Wayne area that day, an umbrella would have come in handy, as well as extra layers of clothes.
