Have you ever experienced a time of waiting? It can certainly seem like an eternity sometimes, when you are excitedly waiting for something. Or, it can seem like the time flies by when we wait nervously for something.

t is the bed, “sleep-texting,” that is creating great concern in the medical world. Our teenagers are sleeping with their phones or other mobile devices, receiving messages, firing off messages, and waking with NO recollection of what took place (or maybe they do).

TV studio named in honor of founder, beloved teacher

During a special ceremony tonight, Jan. 29, Will Neumeyer, the founder of the Media Arts Program at Concordia Lutheran High School, was recognized posthumously when the school’s television studio was named in his honor. Neumeyer passed away after a two-year battle with cancer in 2011.

Leading the March: Concordia Lutheran High School

On January 22, 2014, less than twenty Concordia Lutheran High School students trekked through frigid below-zero cold and the most snow Washington DC had seen in generations. Just a year later, 42 Concordia students marched through a much fairer Washington DC to stand up for those who can’t. This year, 70 students and 17 adults are traveling to Washington from Fort Wayne, Indiana to fight for the unborn, and have the honor and privilege to lead the March.

JROTC Cadet honored as ‘Good Citizen’

Senior Jasmine Jackson has been recognized with the 2015-16 Mary Penrose Wayne Chapter of the DAR Good Citizen Award from the National Society of Daughters of the American Revolution. Jackson is the battalion commander for Concordia’s JROTC program.
