Praise 150

Concordia students have the opportunity to play in our praise band, Praise 150, during chapel services.

The name comes from Psalm 150 which proclaims, “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord . . . with strings and pipe . . . with the clash of cymbals . . . (and) with the resounding cymbals.”  Members of Praise 150 use their God-given musical gifts and talents to provide music for various chapels throughout the school year and to minister to members of the CLHS community through song.  Members of this team are conscientious students and examples of the Christian faith in all areas of life.

Praise 150 bands rehearse Tuesday mornings before school from 8-8:35. Morning rehearsals are also held when the band is providing music for chapel that day. Consistent attendance at rehearsal is required. Students interested in becoming members of Praise 150 must be proficient instrumentalists or vocalists.
