A Cappella
CLHS’s A Cappella Choir is repeatedly named one of the finest high school choirs in the state. Tours have taken us to Atlanta, New York, Chicago and St. Louis.
Bella Voce
Bella Voce is an auditioned intermediary women's chorus focusing on 4-part literature from many periods of music history. Students study advanced choral techniques as well as sight-singing. Bella Voce performs at school concerts and state music festivals.
Chamber Singers
Chamber Singers, the "Maroon Standard," is a specially auditioned vocal ensemble selected from the members of the A Cappella Choir. There is one evening rehearsal per week with additional opportunities for performance in area churches and community organizations.
Men’s and Women’s Chorus
Through Chorus, students develop musicianship and specific performance skills through ensemble and solo singing. The Men’s and Women’s Chorus is taught separately to refine individual skills. Chorus provides opportunities for performing, creating and responding to music.
