Change Your Email Password

Email Password

Beginning with the class of 2030, your school email was created with the default password, and on your first login, you should be prompted to create a new one. If that happened, you are done and can go to the next step. If this does not happen, you will want to manually change your password immediately. 

  1. Open Chrome and go to gmail.com
  2. Sign in to your CLHS email with the default password
  3. In the upper right of Chrome you will see the Concordia Lutheran High School logo with your initial, click that
  4. Click Manage Your Google Account
  5. Click Security
  6. Under How You Sign In to Google -> password
  7. It will prompt you to enter the default password -> Next
  8. Enter a new password you will remember
    1. A typical password will be something you can remember containing 8 characters with an upper case, lower case, number, and special character
  9. Verify the password by typing it again
  10. Click the Change Password button
